Scenes of Hot Fuzz:

We asked the audience out of the three scenes that we showed them if any of these scenes have offended them and the majority of them said that the ending scene of the film they found offensive out of all the scenes. The reason why two of the audience from the focus group found this scene offensive is because they said that, “Pastor using offensive language”- by two under 18 females.  Which means that they didn’t like the fact that they made a religious man like a Pastor use offensive language when they are suppose to not use that sort of language.

How offensive they found the language?

We asked the focus group how offensive they found the language of the scenes that we showed them from the scale of 1-5, 1 being not so offensive and 5 being extremely offensive. 1 male under 18, 1 female under 18 and 1 male aged between 30-44 put 1 being not so offensive which means that they believed that the scenes that were shown to them didnt not of a lot of offensive language in it. 2 males aged 18-29 but a number 2 meaning that there was a little amount of strong language in the scenes. 2 males under 18, 1 female under 18, 2 males aged between 30-44 put a number 3 for the offensiveness of the movie which means that they believed that there was a high amount of offensive language that was shown in the scenes. 1 male under 18 put the number 4 which means that they found the scenes being very offensive by the language shown. From the results found we seen that males under 18 for the scenes more offensive more than the other audience and they were the target audience that the movie was rated for.
