Universal Pictures and Canal Plus finance Working Title, which means that they finance their projects development. Partnership with Universal brings WTF a wider network of distribution. It also gave WTF the power to commission films with a budget of up to  $35 million without even consulting Universal.

According to Bevan they spend 80% of their time on script development, because they believe that the script is the important part of the process and if it is not done then it is a waste of time for the rest of the production.  

Due to them having a partnership with Universal thay have managed to develop a good relationship with them. This includes them having Universal in their projects from the beginning to help decide on the projects that they wish to work on, help to decide which people they want in the casting. They will listen to information that Universal gives to them that they think will be good for their marketing. 

WTF is involved with the marketing of all of their films and they have a head of distibrution that will deal with their the questions of their marketing and distribution. The company is able to make their own marketing campagin that is in collaboration with the studio, as well as this they oversee the distribution plan, the marketing campaign and the marketing budget. this means that they are not just responsible for making the films but they are also involved in the marketing of their films.

Tim Bevan said, ' We believe that our model is a good one; it is that we are harnessing one of the giants in the movie business that we get money from them to make our movies because we have creative autonomy because we have got a bit of experience in this business as we tend to make films which as half atleast of a British slate.'

WTF is based in London and LA and they are joint between NBC Universal International and their UK office is headed by Juliette Howell and their LA office is Headed by Lisa Chasin. Their UK office is currently developing projects that is across all of Uk broadcasters. Their productions include BAFTA- winning birdsong which is adapted by Abi Morgan.
